As Raeny was strolling along, she saw a strange glowing plant - a pulsating light coming up from the ground.
"I wonder" she says quietly; she goes to the strange veggie and tugs on the greenish glowing
sprout and... up comes the most beautiful onion she had ever seen! It had a pearly white emanantion about it, something that showed Raeny how just special it was; as she held it in her hand...
Earth
From the obsidian skies, The Ogar could see her form gently swaying in the building breeze as he approached the terrain upon his winged steed, Nimron.
The Ogar braves the anti-magnetic forces as he follows The Empress. The Netherworld forces pull her across the dark, cold waters.. and she lies gently on a finely-hewn rock ledge at the mouth of an arched portal. The Ogar and his faithful companion, Namron, fly swiftly around the portal several times to ensure that The Empress is safe. He makes one last swoop downward to gaze upon the entranced Empress. With her safety ensured, he yells to Namron, "To the west, my good friend.. over the rocky crags and to the sea..for Sir Larry's fate lies in our hands!" With that said, Namron scoops the air with his massive wings.. and up over the craggy peaks they soar. Up into the clouds and back down the other side, over the dark shifting waters ahead lies the ship headed for the jagged, rocky shores. "Be swift, my friend," says the Ogar. And with that, Namron quickens the pace and they shoot like an arrow across the bow of the ship. The Ogar digs his heels into the scales of Namron and leans far to the right and grabs hold of the stone-like arm of Sir Larry's statuesque form. With one mighty grunt, The Ogar pulls Sir Larry up and across the back of Namron, balancing him with one arm. The Ogar looks back to see the ship crashed into pieces upon the rocky shore. The Ogar yells to Namron, "Back to the castle!" The Ogar thought to himself, 'How fortunate the fates that saved Sir Larry from impending doom just in time.' 'Now, he thought, to find the spell that turns stone back to flesh.'
The Empress awakens from the deep, transcendental state to find herself within the watery portal to the Netherworld.
She takes a moment ponder what the Spirits may wish of her. Turning toward the darkness, she finds herself face-to-face with a minion from the darkest depths
The wizardress quickly places her fingers to her temples, calling up her deadly bloodfork. With one fatal jab, the demon vanishes into the murky darkness
The Empress knows now that only one within this realm may be able to guide her. Somberly, yet deliberately, she makes her way through the catacombs of eternal darkness. She ventures forth with some trepidation, fully aware that none of her consorts can follow here to assist her; for to do so would mean their demise as no mortal may pass through the world of the damned and undead. Few within the city had traversed this realm - - save only her sanguineous sister and Darklight (being vampyres, of course).
Up a winding staircase the enchantress climbs to enter the Hall of the Visionary.
There in the blazing darkness she finds The Visionary, who knowingly awaits to profer her his audience.
This High Spirit sees all, knows all, but reveals little. Yet she knows that she must persist, even risking the fate of her very soul.
The Visionary motions that she should speak. Lowering herself to kneel in deference to this powerful soothsayer, The Empress humbles herself. "Oh, Great Visionary, reveal to me that which I seek Great Spirit and Guide, open my inner eye that I may truly see".
This selfless intentioned plea is met with his intensely cold, fiery stare. His visions fill her, even as the icy cold clutches at her crystalline quintessence..
She has known this heart-wrenching feeling in the past, each time leaving a piece of her innermost essence behind her in the name of righteousness and truth. Slowly she rises and makes her way back to the portal to the sea, hoping these new visions will guide her in aiding her friends..
Mere mortals would never know the high price that could be extracted for wisdom and loyalty, nor how easily one could part with a piece of one's soul-- sacrificed for the greater good.
Solitude rested within her as she gazed out over the sea--
-- for she now fully realized that the visions were telling her that she could offer no assistance to the others until the Magick Onion was retrieved and brought to her..
At lightning speed Namron sails Sir Larry and the Ogar back to the castle. Quickly The Ogar slides the heavy stone figure that was once living flesh onto the cobbled walkway. Quickly the Ogar jumps upon the back of his flying beast and guides him back to the portal where he left the lovely Empress. I hath heard her crys on the winds of my soul yelled the Ogar. I fear she hath done harm to herself for the sake of all.
The flight seemed endless as the portal came into view. There on the slab stood the temptress in all her splender. The Ogar reaches out and grabs hold of the soft hand of the Empress and slides her up on the back of his nobale mount. What hath thou done, asked the Ogar? Thy skin is cold and thou hath clouds in thy eyes. She answered not a word as they once again headed back to the comfort of the castle.
The Ogar knew she had made a sacrifice. One of which she would not speek. She wraped her arms around him as they flew back towards the castle. Namron in his graceful style landed only a few feet from the statue that was once Sir Larry.
The Ogar helped the great Empress off the white dragon and walked with her up to Sir Larrys frozen form. Now what to do about him. Hmmm what to do?
Carol, Goober and SniP watch from their perch high up in the giant oak tree as the Ogar on Nimrod with Sir Larry fly to the castle. So Goober and Carol take flight to the castle window and perch on the window ledge to see what is going on.
Were turkey feather
Hmmm I could get a feather from my friends he mumbles but Ill need to be very careful to stay clear of the gobbler slobber.
outside on the window ledge:
Were turkey Carol turns to Goober and pulls a feather from his side Goober is startled and starts squawking making such a racket that the Ogars attention is drawn to the window and his on-looking friends. Looking into their eyes the Ogar could see their concern for Sir Larry The Ogar thought to himself hmmmm maybe they understand and smiled at his friends as an idea began to take root he thought hmmmm I cant understand turkey gobbling but it appears Carol and Goober can understand me and are offering a feather (one of them have a feather in its beak.)
OUCH!! Damn Carol why did you pull a feather out of my tail? Because Ogar needs one silly, Carol said. Yes I know but that hurt, and besides that what is going to be missing once we are normal again? Hmmmmm is all that Carol could say. I think Ogar understands what you are doing Carol. Look he is concerned with getting too close to us, Carol said. Perhaps we should leave then. With that the two wereturkeys flew off. As they flew Goober said to Carol. Well they seem to understand most everything about our peril except who is behind it. I wish I could get them to understand who it is and why he is doing it. I wish they knew that the evil that is endangering Fortune City is doing so because of the new banner policy. He was at one time a regular citizen that has now turned his abilities into evil doing. But now he is the very image of evil. With that both Carol and Goober thought of the person that is causing all this fear.
The weedhopr summons McV to her side, and looking around at her companions, bids them a hasty farewell saying "I'm sorry that you can't hitch a ride with me, after Ogar cut off McV's legs, he just hasn't been the same...if I have no luck finding the Magic Onion, I'll meet you at the castle!"
As the Weedhopr flies swiftly on her journey, she chances to look down into a blackened field;
Agreeing with McV that something looked strange about it, they circled around and prepared to land...
The Most High Wizardress, Poisonbelladonna, ~The Empress of The Essence~,
starts her circle casting with candles
lit at the cardinal points and a cauldron in the center of the Circle area
This ritual is designed for a High Wizardress and one other, The Ogar bearing the chalice of salt water
and carrying the incense.
The High Wizardress Empress starts at the altar. With her unsheathed Athame
she salutes the Sky and Earth. At the East corner The Empress dips her Crystal Athame into the Chalice, casting the salt water upon the Circle, raises her Athame and calls out:
Powers of Air!
We invoke you and call you,
Golden Eagle of the Dawn,
Star - seeker,
Whirlwind,
Rising Sun,
Come!
By the air that is Her breath,
Send forth your light,
Be here now!"
As she speaks, she traces an invoking symbol in the air with her Athame. She sees it, in glowing pale blue flame, and through it she feels a great onrush of wind. She breathes deeply, drawing in the power, then earths it through her Athame, which she points at the ground.
The High Wizardress traces the Circle as she continues around the edge. The other quarters are similarly called in turn, each time repeating the Athame water sprinkling from the Chalice held by The Ogar:
Powers of Fire!
We invoke you and call you,
Red Lion of the noon heat,
Flaming One!
Summers warmth,
Spark of life, Come!
By the fire that is Her spirit,
Send forth your flame,
Be here now!"
~ ~
Powers of Water!
We invoke you and call you,
Serpent of the Watery abyss,
Rainmaker,
Gray-robed Twilight,
Evening Star! Come!
By the waters of Her living womb,
Send forth your flow,
Be here now!"
~ ~
Cornerstone of all Power
We invoke you and call you,
Spirits of the Outer Darkness,
Black Bull of Midnight,
North Star,
Center of the Whirling sky Stone,
Mountain,
Fertile Field, Come!
By the earth that is her body,
Send forth your strength,
Be here now!"
As the Empress completes the Circle she again salutes the sky and earth, turns and touches the tip of her Athame to the central cauldron and says:
"The Circle is cast. We are between the worlds. Beyond the bounds of time, Where night and day, Birth and Death, Joy and sorrow Meet as one."
The Ogar places the Chalice and the incense upon the Altar Cloth. He stakes the Crystal Athame into the soil at the base of the Circle, and brings an enchanted dagger to The Empress, along with a pouch of graveyard dust.
The enchantress places the tip of her dagger into the dust. She then gently rests the tip of the dagger near her heart, reciting an ancient incantation:
Cleanse this evil from our midst.
Scatter its cells throughout time,
Let this statue no more exist."
She again causes the dagger to delve into the dust, presses it gently to her lips, chanting:
I am one too strong to fight
return to dark where shadows dwell
you can not have this halliwell
go away and leave my sight
and take with you this endless night."
She places the tip once more into the dust, breathing deeply of the smoky aroma of the incense, continuing:
And turn back time
to whence it was begun."
She sprinkles the dust over the inner Circle. The Empress kneels within the Circle, tracing a mystical pattern into the graveyard dust with the enchanted dagger. In the center of the tracing, she draws an eye so the Divine Spirits will see her sacrifice. Pressing the dagger's now sanctified blade softly into her flesh, she allows her vein to spill upon the eye in the casting Circle.
As her energies wane, she completes the incantation:
Restore his soul,
Banish this evil."
The air within the room thickens with aura as her smoldering green eyes roll upwards into their sockets. The Empress reels and sinks, spent, to the hallowed ground within the Circle.
A crumbling can be heard from the outer castle as the stone disintegrates, leaving Sir Larry returned to his former self. He shakes the cobwebs from his mind. In realization of his whereabouts, he turns on his heels and enters the castle, descending the stairs to find The Ogar and The Empress in the Altar room of the poison laboratory.
Upon entering the sacred lair, he sees the seemingly lifeless form of Poisonbelladonna lying upon the dusty ground. He looks questioningly at The Ogar who stands in disbelief himself, a tear upon his weathered cheek..
ebby and the rest watched in awe as Sir Larry was reverted to his original form by the magical workings of Poisonbelladonna and her friend Ogar.. "why surely we will succeed now, their power is so great", ebby exclaimed.
We really must all work together and combine our unique abilities to find and recover this magic onion, so that the powerfull Poisonbelladonna can work her magic and save Carol, Goober and all the other wereturkeys .
The little people returned , and looking upon the saved Sir. Larry, reaqlised how much power there was in this little group of valiant adventurer-newbies. They smiled and sprinked the gang with some faery dust for good luck and chanted an ancient rhyme.

Chapter 91 Posted by Weedhopr
As Weedhopr and McV neared the burned out field, a very loud rumbling sound began to shake the earth. As the sound grew louder and louder the shock-wave effects grew stronger and stronger causing McV to have to adjust his flight patterns to compensate for the wavy undulations coming, they now noticed, from the field!
Looking back carefully, they saw, rising slowly up out of the earth, was a huge black structure
that, what?, weedhopr closed her eyes then focused again on the building growing out of the
burnt field...it looks like a, a.. gigantic.. hollow.. statue.. of.. a.. Turkey!
Just as the buildings doorway crested over the ground, the door slowly began to open...Scared out of his mind and wanting to see no more, McV turned quickly toward Belladonnas castle and flew like the wind! Urging him on, "Faster!" Weedhopr says "We have to tell the others what we've just seen!"
What a relief it was to see their friends all gathered at Castle La Belladonna! Weedhopr related the story of what they had just witnessed, and they all put their heads together to try and figure out what it all means..

Chapter 92 Posted by The Ogar
The Ogars heart fell to the floor along with the Empress. He rushed to her side and pull the knife from her tender neck. With great haste he pulled out the white bandages from his leather medicine pouch. Hold this tight upon the wound Sir Larry, cried out the Ogar. Sir Larry kneeled beside her and applied the needed presure to dam the red flow.
Once again reaching in the pouch the Ogar pulled out a small viel of dragon scale ashes. This will seal the wound, he said somberly to he friend. Sir Larry lifted the banage and the Ogar pured the intire contents of the veil upon her scraficial wound. In just moments the steady ooze of blood had subsided.
Here Larry, said the Ogar. Take this feather given us by Carol and Goober and drop it in the cauldron that contains her magickal potion. It will give it potancy. Sir Larry took the feather and headed for the laboratory. He turned at the door way and said thanks to the Empress for saving his life. Yes, she gives much for the good of all, replied the Ogar. Indeed answered back Sir Larry in a honorable voice.
When Larry's shadow drifted out of view the Ogar gently slid his arms under the fallen beauty and raised her up and out of the graveyard dust. He carried her up to the turet and placed her on the feather bed. Covering her with a comforter the Ogar kneeled at the edge of the bed and preyed to the dragon spirt to show mercy on the lovely Empress. Please he cried, please let this light once again shine upon us. With that the Ogar whisper to her, "fear not my Empress, for I shall not leave your side till the sparkle of life returns to your eye". If only they knew that which you hath given. The Ogar's devotion to the Empress was now stronger than ever. He silently vowed to slaughter the demon that holds the part of her soul. He swore this to the great dragon spirt as he sat in his vigilant watch over his dear Empress.
Through the past few nights, Lilith's Childe had wandered the street of Rivendell. Finding little to help her in the quest for the magic onion. Instead she had managed to bring QuiltCrazy into the group...a good thing to be sure. But who had begun this wereturkey epidemic. There had not been a wereturkey sighting for a very long time...who could have brought them back?
She returned to her dark manor, through the canyon that kept it safe, down into the mist, where only a few knew to look for her.
Laying down, she closed her eyes and drifted easily to sleep.
She drifted farther and farther off to sleep. In her dreams she witnessed her friends, Sir Larry, Ebby, Ebony, Mercy, Weedhoper, Chewman...and her sister Belladonna and her faithful companion Ogar. They were working so hard, yet accomplishing so little. Goober and Carol were still wereturkeys, and Thanksgiving was only 10 days away! She had to find out who had done this thing!!
Slowly, she heard the Dark Mothers voice whispering to her. "Look at those closest to you my daughter..."
and she was granted a vision of a castle.
Awaking with a start, Lilith's Childe realized who had done this thing. This castle was here in Rivendell...it belonged to the Rivendell Wizard! He who acted as it's protector!
But why would he do such a thing? What did he have to gain??
Allowing her wings out, a rare thing indeed, she flew with all haste to the wizard's tower.
But she could not get inside...there were wards on the tower.
She would have to get around them somehow, or get the wizard to come out of his lair to face her. "Wizard of Rivendell! Come out and face me! Why have you done this thing? Why have you created the wereturkeys again!?" The door creaked open, and out stepped the wizard, although much changed, it was still him.
"I have been a part of Rivendell for a very long time...long before you came her Vampiress" he said in a raspy voice "I had been it's symbol, proudly, but now I see that few people visit out fair Rivendell, and it angers me".
"I did this to get attention for us, to get people to know that this place exsists! Can you not understand that?!" Shaking her head, Lilith's Childe said sadly "I can understand, all too much, but this was not the way Wizard. Tell me...who did you transform first, and how can it be undone?" Angrily the wizard stepped back into his home "Snip was the first, this I will give you because of your duty to Rivendell. If you agree to drink this cup, you will be granted the power to help your friends. Holding out a chalice to her, Lilith's Childe grimmiced. "Do you think me foolish Wizard? To drink from the chalice without knowledge of what is inside could destroy me, or worse!" The Wizard smiled deviously "but will you do it to help your friends, your city, and Rivendell?"
Thinking for a minute, Lilith's Childe took the chalice and drained it's contents. She would do anything for this city, and for her friends. Even her cold heart could not bear to think of her friends stuck as turkeys on Thanksgiving day.
Suddenly she got very dizzy, and felt her heart begin to beat. She felt like she was burning alive, she was so hot. Then it stopped. Inside her she could somehow feel the location of the onion. She could find it, she knew she could, but it would not be easy. Then it hit her! Her heart was beating, and she...felt hungry? She had a craving for those Jaffa Cake things her friends always ate. She was mortal! The wizard had stolen her immortality, and given her the ability to help her friends. Whether a gift or a curse, she would have to deal with these repurcussions, and find her friends.
A that moment Dr Seven Stepped out of Edgar The Elegant Elevator, time machine Extraordinary!
"Lilith!" He exclaimed, giving her his usual cocky grin! "I understand you are in trouble?"
Lilith nodded sadly, "I fell for the Wizard's trick and now I am indeed mortal. But I will persevere! I will help my friends!"
"Not to worry!" The Good Doctor said, "I have here in the "person" of Edgar both the means
of your salvation and the means by which you can outwit the Wizard!"
Puzzled, Lilith gave the Good Doctor a nonplussed look, "How so, Sir?"
"Why, it's child's play! We'll simply get into Edgar, go back into the past and restore your powers. Thus fortified you can renew your quest! And upon Edgar's behest we can much more easily locate the magical onion."
Lilith breathed a sigh of relief. "How easy!" But then a look of consternation crossed her
face. "But Does Science prevail against Magic?"
Dr Seven gave her an enigmatic smile. "Of course, dear girl. Any science sufficiently advanced is the same as magic!"
Thus reassured Lilith got into Edgar with Dr Seven and they began their journey and Litith's quest anew!
As she stepped into the time machine Lilith stopped and looked around, thinking.
"Forgive me, but I can not go. What is done is done, and the one thing I've learned in all my years is to deal with the consequences of your actions. I thank you, but I must deal with this as well. It is not so bad really. At least I can help my friends now. I know where the onion is...but we must still get it and bake the brew. Then we must find a way to get poor Snip to drink it." Stepping back, out of the machine, she smiles "thank you good doctor...will you go with me back to my sisters lair to help the others?"
The doctor looked puzzeled, but nodded in agreement. "If it is your wish, I would not stop you."
So together they arrived at Belladonna's keep...
As Lilith and Dr Seven arrived at Beldonna's keep he held up
a forestalling hand just as Lilith was about to step
out of Edgar.
Puzzled, Lilith looked a question at the Good Doctor.
"I realize we don't have a lot of time here. I could
go back to the past, but the past is blocked to me
And besides I don't want to leave you now that we are
joined forces -- not even for the
few minutes that it would take to hop back and forth
in time -- even if that WOULD do me any good! I have
proof that your life is in danger from
someone other than the Wizard. And that this is not
going to go as easy as you think. Therefore -- if you
could give me a very brief synopsis of the action to
the present then once I am up to speed, we will have saved
the unneccessary time apart and I will be better able to help!
What say you, fair lady?" And the Doctor beamed avuncularly at her.
"What do you mean you have proof that my life is in danger
from some other source?" asked Lilith, taken aback.
"Why do you think I came here to try to save you the way I did?
I saw the future as I was traveling through here in Edgar!
However, if you want to do it your way, then that is your
perogative. Still, I would be only too glad and honored
to help you in any way I can. Your life is in danger and if you
die then the quest is over! You are the Heroine here! You are
the Chosen One. Why do you think the Wizard went to the
lengths he did?" Gone was the avuncular smile. Instead
Dr Seven regarded Lilith gravely. "You must prevail!
I can help! Please, Childe, fill me in on the pieces that I have
missed. After all, Edgar is only a time machine! There
are certain magics that he cannot pierce! I only hinted at this
earlier when I talked about the past, but allow me to
elucidate! A shroud, a Veil of Darkness has been laid
across the PAST. Only you can lift that veil
so that I can help you!"
"Well now what are we gonna do" those standing around Mercy exclaim as they see Mercy transformed into a were turkey
Mercy turns to Carol and says "I had found the magic onion now we need to find a way to communicate with our friends. There must be someone we havent found yet who might be able to understand turkey talk. So I can tell them where I found the magic onion."
Carol looked at Mercy
Ebony noticed that almost all of the 'Fc Hero Gang' were back at Belladonna's castle. When Lileths childe walked in Ebony sensed there was something gravely wrong with her. She took Lileths Childe into another room and asked her what was wrong. Her face dropped as Lileth's Childe explained what the Wicked Wizard had done to her. "I...I...I don't know what to say. Please don't take this offensively, The only way I can think of helping youwould be ~ If you want ~ I could always re~embrace you." Lileths Childe shook her head vaguely. "Well the offer stands ~ only as a way of helping you." With that Ebony re~joined the group around the table and offered Lileth's Childe some coffee and jaffa cakes.
Ebony got Morpheus' bowl out of her bag and made him a cold milky coffee and gave him some Jaffa Cakes. By now the wereturkeys had gone off in search of food. "Oh what to do..." ebby wondered "What to do indeed.........................................."

Chapter 100 Posted by Dr. Seven
At this point Dr Seven entered the room. Seeing Lilith
looking so sad and Ebony looking so helpless, he said,
"Well Gang, I guess there's only one thing to do!"
Lilith and Ebony gave him a hopeful look.
"Yeah. We've gotta turn Mercy back into her usual
cheerful, good natured, helpful self. She's our only
hope to get out of this mess! I mean, it was Mercy who
helped me when Edgar crash landed on that horrible alien
planet and I thought I was never going to get home."
"How do you propose to do this, Doc?" Asked Lilith, looking
up at him with a small measure of hope in her eyes.
"Well the way I see it, the Wizard has cleverly hidden the
clues on how to turn the were turkeys back into the
good people they once were. And I know just where he's
hidden it. You see the Magic Onion was just a ruse --"
"Wait a minute! How do you know this?" Ebony challenged
him. "This better not be a joke!
The Good Doctor gave Ebony a humble look. "Well, actually I
don't know this. I mean --"
"What!" Shouted Ebony "Are you standing there saying that
you've been giving us false hope all --"
The Doctor held up both hands in a supplicating gesture.
"Let me finish, please!" When he saw that Ebony was going
to subside, he went on, "As I was saying, Magic is not
everything! Science is helpful too. In this case it is
the science of HTML."
"You mean --?" Lilith chimed in.
"Yes. I am afraid I do. Mercy is the Keeper of the HTML code
and the Wizard knew if he could subvert that code that
he could turn Mercy and everyone else into wereturkeys.
And as a side issue he could turn Lilith into a mortal.
Now all we have to do is to find the correct countering
HTML code and all will be as before. Will you help me
look?"
"Of course, Doc!" both Lilith and Ebony shouted. "But
where do we look?"
"I believe it is right under our noses here. It must be
somewhere here in Belladonna Keep!"
"Why do you think that?" asked Lilith.
"AH! That's where Edgar comes in. He comes equipped
with an HTML sensor. That sensor told him that the
HTML code is located somewhere nearby and he told me
to tell you."
Suddenly Lilith's face brightened. "Oh, Doc. I have just
had a revelation. I think even Edgar's been fooled! I
think where we have to really look is at Mercy's Place!"
Dr Seven smacked himself in the forehead. "Of course!
How obvious! Mercy brought the Magic Onion here and
where did she come from? That's why Edgar was fooled.
The proximity of the Magic Onion threw his sensors off!"
"Mercy's Place!!" Lilith and Ebony both shouted! "That's where
we need to go!"
Without further ado Ebony and Lilith joined the Good
Doctor as he got into Edgar. Then they were all off to
Mercy's Place!
IN midflight Dr Seven smacked himself in the forehead.
"How could I be so stupid! We forgot Mercy and the
Magic Onion!"
Lilith and Ebony looked crestfallen. "Yeah, Doc!
So did we!" Lilith voiced the thought on both their
minds! "But don't feel too bad. I guess that was
easy to do in all the confusion we've been experiencing
around here lately."
Reversing Edgar in midflight, they went back
to Belladonna's. There they found Mercy and the
onion and then once more they were off!
But in their desperation they had forgotten that Mercy had been turned into a wereturkey and had mistakenly picked up Quilt crazy and ebby at the same time. "Oh this is as close as we can get for now" Ebony sighed, and So the time machine was re~routed back to Mercy's place.

Chapter 101 Posted by Sir Larry
Sir Larry and Ogar stayed with Poisonbelladonna while the others went to help Mercy. Sir Larry was filled with too much remorse over her sacrifice to be of much help to anyone.
Ogar, sitting next to the Empresses, and gently stroking her long hair while speaking soft words of encouragement to her, as if to will her to live, looked at Sir Larry and asked if he knew who had turned him into a statue.
"Yes! I remember who it was. It was Dr. Seven! He was disguised as the Rivendell Wizard! He's plotting to take over all of FC and to make Roswell the center of FC. After he turned me into a statue, he didn't think I could tell anyone who he was so he changed into himself right in front of me. I heard him laughing about how he could do what he wants since he has the power to go forward or backward into time to change things."
Ogar's eyes turned from the sad orbs that longed to see the Empress rise from her bed, to a fiery red, a red so hot that Sir Larry had to turn his eyes away before they were damaged by their fierceness. "WHAT!" he bellowed, forgetting for a moment that the Empress was in need of his tender heart. "Why, that's who everyone went with. Sir Larry, you must warn them before they're all changed into wereturkeys."
Sir Larry looked at Ogar, then with words that he didn't know were within himself, said, "If it means my last breathe, I will save my friends!"
With that, Sir Larry walked out of the room, down the steps, and out the door. He looked at Carol, Mercy, SNiP, and Goober, and told them what he knew. He then asked one of them to carry him to Mercy's place after he hid in a garage bad to keep the slobber off himself. Goober nodded, and that is what they did.
Meanwhile, Ogar, with time running out, decided it was time for him to take drastic action to awaken the Empress so they could battle Dr. Seven together. And, with that, he...

From Sir Larry's post:
Meanwhile, Ogar, with time running out, decided it was time for him to take drastic action to awaken the Empress so they could battle Dr. Seven together. And, with that, he...

asked Sir Larry to stay by Poisonbelladonna's side while he went to the laboratory to concoct a new potion just for his Empress. He was sure he could do this for he had spent many hours by the side of the Great Enchantress learning as much as he possibly could from her. As he continued to work feverishly, Sir Larry sat by the Empress's side hoping beyond hope that she would come to and be herself again. He sat there thinking, isn't it wonderful what all of us will do for each other in times of crisis? What an amazing gang of friends we have made here in Fortune City!
Meanwhile, Lancelot was trying desperately to get someone's attention. He was still able to communicate with his mistress Mercy and she was trying to get a message across to those who had not been turned into wereturkeys yet. However, unicorns can't speak either so Lancelot did what he thought might get someone's attention. He started pounding his hooves on the ground as if counting. No one noticed at first, but Sir Larry came to the window finally and asked Lancelot what was the matter and why all the noise? At first he mistook Lancelot's movements to be those of confusion for his mistress was now a wereturkey and he didn't know what to do, but after awhile Sir Larry realized that the movements were too precise and repetitive. "Oh Lancelot, what are you trying to tell us fella?" "Finally someone understands that I am trying to communicate!!" thought Lancelot. Now to start over, pounding hoof to ground 1, 2, 3....997, 998, 999. He stopped and looked up to Sir Larry who had a confused look on his face. "Now what the heck was that all about?" asked Sir Larry. Lancelot was so frustrated at this point that he flew into the window and landed at Poisonbelladonna's feet. He started once again, 1, 2, 3...997, 998, 999. Fortunately this time Sir Larry counted each and every pounce of the hoof. "Wow 999, now what is that supposed to mean?" he asked. "Let me think about this Lancelot, for I know you are trying to tell us something." Lancelot whinnied and shook his head up and down! "Finally we may be getting somewhere!" thought Lancelot. Just then The Ogar came rushing in from the laboratory. "I think I have it!" he shouted with glee. "What the heck is Lancelot doing in this room?" Sir Larry explained what had happened and then he and The Ogar put their heads together trying to figure out what the message was from Lancelot, inadvertantly from Mercy, although they hadn't figured that one out yet. And so.......
(When Weedhopr saw Dr Seven arrive she crouched down really low so that he couldn't see her...)
She was thinking that SOMETHING seemed vagely familiar...
Weedhopr also felt that he just couldn't be trusted...
Hummm, why does he seem so familiar to me?
When the group went into the strange elevator and the door began to close, it suddenly became
clear what the problem was! She had heard that same 'swooshing' noise in the burnt field, just before the door started to open! "Hey! Hey, don't leave with him!" Weedhopr shouts in vain. The elevator was gone, vanished right before the weedhoprs eyes!
Looking around frantically for something to be of help, weedhopr goes inside the castle and upstairs to Poisonbelladonnas room, where she hears the story Sir Larry told, and witnessed the Unicorns' strange 999 message. Looking thoughtfully at Sir Larry and Ogar, Weedhopr says "Well, that will be no problem at all! The message means...

Chapter 104 Posted by Dr. Seven
Dr Seven was conferring with Lilith and Ebony when Edgar
cleared his throat -- urgently!
Dr Seven broke away from the conference to give Edgar a
puzzled look, "Yes, Edgar? What is it?"
With his usual impeccable manners and in his expected
mellifluous voice, Edgar spoke, "I am afraid I have bad
news, Sire!"
When Edgar didn't continue right away, Dr Seven asked
brusquely, "Well what is it, old man?"
If an AI could be said to be able to express sorrow then
Edgar did. His holographic avuncular face and eyes were
filled with pain. "Well, Sire, I have, through my excellent
temporal sensors detected a plot against you. Someone is
spreading falsehoods against you! The word is that
you are responsible for a lot of the trouble that is
going on here."
Dr Seven looked aghast! Mercy gobbled her alarm in her
best wereturkey voice and Lilith and Ebony gasped in horror in
unison, looking at Dr Seven as if he had suddenly turned in
to a demon!
"Now ladies," Dr Seven said, making placating gestures in the
air, "I can prove that I am not behind this plot!"
"And just how do you propose to do that?" asked Lilith,
suspiciously, giving Dr Seven a look that said she wondered
if he WAS a traitor all along and DID have ulterior
nmotives for contacting her.
Dr Seven beamed at them all. "That's easy. I have my own
personal angel and I want you to meet her! She will vouch
for me and everyone knows that angels DO NOT lie!"
At that moment a beautiful red haired woman suddenly
appeared in their midst as if from nowhere. But she was
more than a woman! Suddenly she lit up with a light that
was coming from inside her, blazing all around her body and
head and coming from her eyes.
The feeling she radiated was pure love and peace! Then
she spoke, "Dr Seven may not always be a hero, but he is
NOT a liar! His word is as good as Angel Gold!"
"Ladies, meet Perkibabzilahn. A bona fide Angel as you can
see!" Dr Seven beamed around at them all. Perki made
some kind of sign in the air and Mercy was no longer a
wereturkey! She fell at Perki's feet in gratitude!
Perki reached down and with a sweet, benevolent smile
drew Mercy to her feet! "Worship me not, dear Mercy!
For you are an angel too!"
Lilith and Ebony glared at the Good Doctor!
Reading the expressions in their eyes he said, "Hey! I
was going to tell you sooner or later! Honest! Now ...
are you satisfied?"
Lilith and Ebony gave him dubious glances for a moment!
Finally they nodded. And went to join Mercy who was
rejoicing at her returned freedom.
And they group sailed on through the temporal "river"
towards Mercy's Place!
Meanwhile back at Belladonna's . . .

Chapter 105 Posted by Carol
The Empress has become aware that some of her friends have been experimenting with substances in her lab - - some dangerous amphetimine-hallucinogens were missing from the shelves!!! "Oh, Heavens to Mergatroid!!" gasped the wizardress to the others..... "This is disastrous!!!" Gazing into her crystal, she could see that both Carol and Dr. Seven were suffering from delusions that the wereturkeys had become human again! "Good night dark sprites! They are now in danger of being emulsified in slobber and changed themselves!!!" Just as she exclaimed her concern, her crystal revealed that, in fact, this new curse was beginning to take form as Dr. Seven and his Edgar began to transform! (Edgar was now a very annoying wind-up wereturkey!!!) The Empress looks sadly at Ogar, Sir Larry, Goober and Mercy as the realization hits them as well; and she sinks back into her feather ticking and fades back into her daze...............
Would their friends be transformed before the Thanksgiving feast day arrived? Only one week to regain the possession of the Magick Onion - - the ONLY WAY to save all.......... After all, magick can NEVER be reversed with high-tech gadgets and scientific hullaballoo............
Wow, were turkey Carol says as she shakes her head.
That donut I ate must have some powerful hallucinogens in it. (Must be more of Dr. Sevens handiwork he was the one that gave me the jelly filled donut). But oh wow what nice happy hallucinations it evokes. But Im still a wereturkey (I finally get my dance with Goober (wasnt in the streets. but it was in a field) and now to find out it was just a hallucination.
Lilith's Childe walked slowly around Edgar, keeping a close eye on the doctor. He had, for a few seconds, seemed quite dazed, certainly confused. Finally she stopped pacing and stood directly in front of him. "Doctor? Are you feeling well? This is no time for day dreaming you know.." she said, a touch of concern in her voice.
The doctor shook his head and rubbed his eyes. "I'm not sure what all that was about, sorry ladies, I seem to have drifted off, or had a vision. Right, well, lets get to work."
As the good doctor began to look at his consoles, Ebony sat Lilith's Childe down in a chair, still concerned for her friend. "Do you think that he could be right? Could someone be out to destroy you? This doctor seems to think so, but you are unsure."
Lilith gave a little smile to reassure her friend "If someone wants me destroyed, then they will try. There is no sense in worrying about it right now, when Thanksgiving is so close. We must help our friends, quickly, before they become dinner."
Ebony agreed and they both went to the doctors side. Looking at the console made Lilith's Childe's head spin."I don't know very much about this sort of thing Doctor, you'll have to help me. I can, somehow, sense the onion. If it was a ruse, then why would the Wizard give me this ability? He is an honorable man, even if his vengeance has gotten the better of him. There must be a reason for it. I did not give up my immortality for nothing..."
Just then Edgar landed at Belladonna's castle, to gain the help of Mercy. Lilith's Childe lead the group around her sisters home, and they soon came across their friends. Belladonna was laying down, dazed, her companion Ogar beside her. Sir Larry and a turkey looked on.
"Thank the Dark Mother we found you. Things have happened, we know how and why this all happened, we found out who caused all this. The Magic onion was a ruse we think, to lead us off the trail. We need to find the HTML code, according to the good doctor here. We need Mercy for that..." as her words drifted off the assembled group noticed the turkey beside them. It's eyes were unmistakable, it was Mercy.
"Oh no...not her too! Now what will we do?" Lilith's Childe said franticly.
Sitting next to her sister Belladonna she put her head in her hands and sighed.
Raeny watched from through the Magic Pool under the Magic Tree as Mercy's attempt to rescue the Newbies ended in her transformation into a wereturkey herself.... dissappointed, she thought to herself,"well at least Mercy found my abode... if others do also then perhaps there's still a chance,"
The Ogars attentions are shifted to the murmerings of the Empress as she slumbers. The Village, she whispers, Village holds the key to the onion. He died before his time. Search there, only the pure of heart. With that being said the sweet Empress drifted back off into her deep slumber.
Sir Larry cried out the Ogar, does this make sense. The great Empress has had a vision in her dreams. In the Village lays the onion, and her clue's were "he died before his time". And "only the pure of heart". Hmmmm replied Sir Larry, and I think Mercy's clue may have been the actual street address where the onion could be found. Now let me think added Sir Larry, yes 1, 2, 3, up to 999. Thats it cried the Ogar, it grows in the Village on a street named after some one who died before his time. And the actual street number must be 999. Yes replied Sir Larry, I think we have found the answer. Yep that has to be it. Now adds the Ogar, let him that hath wisdom pursue this riddle. For my time is steadfastly locked here. I will not leave my Empress till her glow once again warms my soul. All stand back and let her hath fresh air to aid in her recovery.
Oh, continues the Ogar, his eyes flaming with anger. What is this I hath heard concerning you Dr. Seven? Be thy friend or foe. Doth thy head belong on my camp pole or has thou the intrest of the city at heart? This I ask for you know well that the onion is real and it's afects are needed to thwart the were-turkey spell. My Empress hath worked hard on the potion and spells scraficing her very soul to find a comforting end to this our plague. At risk of your head falling to the stone floor, pleadge thy loyalty to our cause and help us in our quest to deliver this magickal onion to the hands of my sleeping princess. Now, Dr. Seven, what say thee?
Stepping between angry Ogar and Dr Seven,Weedhopr puts her hands on her hips, faces Dr Seven and says "Exactly whose side are you on? When McV and I flew over that burnt field this morning, a building came up out of the ground, and the sound of your elavator doors opening was unmistakably heard! What is that weird statue and why was the field burned?"
Looking around at the gathered group, Dr Seven explains:
"Yes, you are right, it was I who was in the Turkey Statue...or rather, it was Edgar "disguised" as a statue. The burnt field was for a "shocking effect" meant to imply that Thanksgiving was near and the townsfolk/wereturkeys were going to get cooked and served as a main course!"
At that the group all gasped at once, the horrible picture he was painting of their friends futures dawned upon their minds.
"But why? Why would you stage such a sick trick as that?!" asked Weedhopr increduously.
Looking down at the floor - his head bowed in shame - Dr Seven tells his story...
Mercy summoned Lancelot once again. "Gobble, Gobble..." translated to "You must keep trying Lancelot, you must get them to understand what we need them to know! Thanksgiving is getting closer and we will become dinner for someone if you don't make them understand. Please tell them where the Magic Onion can be found! Please!!!"
With that plea from his mistress, the proud unicorn flew off to the village. He went to the street of the magic onion and looked around for something to give the others a clue. "Aha, I've got it!" he thought and with that he went to the local library, flew into the window and right to the section he needed to find the clue that would help the others. He grabbed what he needed and flew out the window, across the town and into the window of the Poisonbelladonna's Castle. Once again he stomped his foot 1, 2, 3...997, 998, 999!! Then he dropped a picture on the floor before their feet!
After answering the "Five" questions, Chewman found a truely amazing onion! He had never seen anything like it! Was this indeed "THE" Magic Onion?
The map had instructions:
Dr Seven continued to look down at the ground for a few
more moments. The he raised his head and gave all those
present a defiant look. "Yes! I am responsible for
some of the things you've accused me of here! BUT!!
It's not for the reason you think! I bear no one in this
faire city any ill will -- least of all Lady Elizabeth
and Mercy. They have never been any thing but kind to me.
NO!! It's because I am jealous of your Magic. I have
always wanted to be a Great Wizard, but I had to
settle for being a Great Scientist. And it's not the
same!" Dr Seven struggled with his emotions for a moment,
looking like he was going to burst into tears.
Then before anyone could say anything or do anything to
stop him he reached into his vest, pulled out something
shiny and stunned Weedhopr with it!
Warning the others away he sprinted to Edgar with Weedhopr
in his arms. As soon as Edgar's doors were closed Edgar
disappeared.
"Now where do you suppose he's going? And why did he take
Weedhopr?" asked Ogar with an extremely puzzled look on
his face!
ebby found himself drifting after Ebony tried to get him into Edgar the Elevator along with the others.. but she failed, and ebby was left floating in the inner realm of FC.... adrift on the seas of Error 404, Sorry Wrong Password and other such feared files of the FCer....
Then, he saw Raeny, one of his sitemates, and keeper of the onion traversing this realm with her Faery friends.... He called out to her, and seeing that he was adrift Raeny and her friends showed jhim the way out of there, and landed him back on Freedom St, @ his home.... and whispered that the clues were leading to the right place, and that the first of the tasks was nearly complete - the Magic Tree had almost been found.... but that there are four more trials to be undertaken....
She then started to say the name of Dr. Seven, to tell ebby whether he was friend or foe, when Edgar rushed toward them at frightening speed.... the two friends and the faeiries moved out of the way. It came to rest, opened revealing...
...the elevators doors open to revealing Weedhopr in a daze...
Bordering upon consciousness, Weedhopr tries to relate the Truth...
"Child...
Mort...
9..9......
9......."
Seeing Weedhopr alone in the Edgar Elavator, Raeny and ebby rush to Weedhoprs side and try to snap her
out of the strange trance "What's happened? Where is Dr Seven? Are you OK little Weedhopr?" ebby says.
"Lay...
layers...onion........
what do.. you have......when you......
peel .....
off 999 layers.....
of an onion...?
You have..
the Heart..........
Childe...mortal........"
Having gotten out her message, Weedhopr falls into an exhausted sleep.
A little confused by the little Weedhopr's puzzle, ebby looked to Raeny who had a tear in her eye .... she gazed off into the nothing, and ebby could see that she was seeing through the eyes of her faery lookouts who were posted around the Newbies and their helpers, but flying so fast they they cannot be seen... Raeny turned to ebby, and related to him the tale of Lilth Childe's loss of immortality....and that Weedhopr's puzzle had something to do with this, and also the magical onion, but what? ebby was left to sort that out for himself as they whisked WEedhopr to the healing magikal pool that is next to the Magic Tree, from which the Magic onion got it's power - the Magical Pool is the water that all the life around it grew from - and it gave each living thing near it some magical properties...
Weedhopr was lain down by the pool, and Raeny gave her some of the Magical water to drink, in the knowledge that it will heal her, and possibly give her some magical power if the pool deems weedhopr worthy enough..
Meanwhile Lilith's Childe was still sitting beside her sister Belladonna's side. Belladonna had passed out after saving Sir Larry from being a statue, and Lilith's Childe had been too late to save her.
Slowly, Lilith's Childe looks up at those around her, tears in her eyes.
"I don't know what else to do. It's only 6 days before Thanksgiving, and we've solved nothing! If my sister was right, and the cure lays in the Magic Onion, then we must find it" she sighs deeply "but I think the others have gone on that search. What more can I do here? Is there something I'm missing? Is the doctor right? Do I play some part in all this?"
Shaking her head in frustration, Lilith's childe stands up and heads to the nearby table. She gently picks up the crystal ball laying there and concentrates on it. Slowly, visions of people begin swirling about inside the ball, then materialize to her. It is Ebby, Raeny and Weedhopr.
Shocked, the crystal ball almost falls out of her hands, but she nimblely catches it.
"I have to go there. Weedhopr is in trouble, and I think it has something to do with me".
Looking sadly at her sister, laying so still on the bed, Lilith's Childe looks to Ogar
"I must go dear friend. I know you will care for her as I would, so I leave her to you. Be well."
With that she leaves the room and heads towards Ebby and the others...
The drama has unfolded, being watched closely by an unknown eye...
PHAZAM!
Novaflare has phased to near pure energy and summoned to Belladonna's castle. He sees Lilith's Childe holding a crystal ball, seething with energy.
"That must have been some spell. I have not only seen the onion, I have touched it!
You have summoned me, something that has never been done before. It must have come at a terrible price to do so.", noticing Lilith's bittersweet smile.
Jaws drop, realising what was just said.
"What?!!",
a chorus says.
"No, really, I have touched it. It is there. Unfortunately, I need someone to bring me back from the journey. As a mass of electrons, I can't carry things, but can move at light speed. But what happened to Lilith?"
"The old wizard has made me mortal, knowing the seasons, a terrible price..."
"You're sacrifice wasn't in vain. Look into your crystal ball..."
And there was the image of the magic onion, fuzzy though it was.
"That's it, right? Let's get going, I'm sure the old codger put traps everywhere...
Where are the wereturkeys? Someone looking after them? We don't want more trouble."
As everyone was listening to the unfolding events, Sir Larry silently slipped out the door and out into the courtyard. He knew that the Empress was in the good hands of Ogar, and that he needed to do SOMETHING!
It was useless to blame himself for what Poisonbelladonna did for him, as he only been a pawn in a very dangerous game. A game in which too many of his friends were in mortal danger. He knew it was time to act, so he left to go to the Village and find this Magic Onion.
It was a long journey, and a dangerous one, so he stopped by the home of his old friend Coniraya and asked him to help. Coniraya had one of those old-fashioned wind sails, which are very useful to people who are in a hurry. Together, they rode the wind sail to the Village, and they started looking for Mayor Darklight. In the Village, it always is best to announce your arrival to the Mayor in order to get the best cooperation from the citizens.
As they stopped ourside the Mayor's home, they heard an odd sound, as if the soul of the home were being ripped apart. They opened the door to see...
As they stopped ourside the Mayor's home, they heard an odd sound, as if the soul of the home were being ripped apart. They opened the door to see...
Dr Seven holding the Magic Onion! It's beautiful hue radiated throughout the entire room. When Dr Seven saw Sir Larry Coniraya enter the house, he quickly ran into the kitchen and out the back door to the waiting elevator Edgar; The two near heros followed the Doctor and lost him as he entered the time machine and disappeared...
Meanwhile, back at the Magic Pond:
When the special water touched Weedhoprs lips, she slowly began to regain consciousness...
"Childe...
the Heart...
....I must speak with Lilths Childe right away!" The Weedhopr suddenly leapes to her feet and looks around:
"There you are!" she says as Lilths Childe hurries up to the group.
"I must speak to you in private" weedhopr says, looking apologetically at her friends..."I have seen the future, it may be harmful for you to hear the things I have to tell Childe..."
So Weedhopr takes her aside and tells her what the future brings.
Lilths Childe nods her head and bids farewell to her friends for now...
As Dr Seven and Perki in Edgar The Elegant Elevator
retreated into the mists of the Uncertainty Principle,
clutching the Magic Onion, Dr Seven Knew they had to reach
Darklight before the Wizard did. Otherwise all was lost. However!
It was not going to be just that easy! And now it had
become even more complicated!
If only Sir Larry had not come in when he did! What Sir
Larry did not know was that the Wizard had been shadowing
him all along, waiting for a chance to waylay the Good Doctor.
Of course, being a mage of Great Powers, The Wizard had
read Sir Larry's thoughts and knew where he was
going.
Fortunately for Darklight she had not been home. Unfortunately for
the Doctor he'd had to enter the Uncertainty Principle
in order to confuse the Wizards magical tracking abilities
Dr Seven wondered if he would come out of the Uncertainty
Principle all in one piece or would he be doomed to spend eternity
there trapped with the magical Onion and not able to
return and save all those in FC who was in need of the
magical onion's powers. Or would his gamble pay off? Would
the Uncertainty Principle allow Dr Seven to re-emerge
as a great Magician? Because if he did become a great
magician he would then be able to contact Darklight
with impunity and together they would save the day!
Dr Seven sailed on and on . . .
As Sir Larry and Coniraya watched Dr. Seven disappear in the elevator, they saw the Wizard emerge from the shadows, glance forelornly at them, and realizing how insignificant they were, ignored them and proceeded to follow the elevator into... into what, Sir Larry and Coniraya were not sure.
With that, they both knew immediately that Dr. Seven was NOT the villian, and that the Wizard must have tricked Sir Larry so he could tell the others and turn them against the good Doctor.
"Coniraya," said Sir Larry, "you must go warn the others back at Poisonbelladonna's castle that it is The Wizard, and not the good Doctor!" Coniraya got on his wind sail and took off for the castle with all due haste.
Sir Larry, with fear and dread in his heart, searched the house for Darklight, unsure of what he would find. Relieved that he found nothing, and no bodies, he went out into the Village to look for his beloved Mayor, who may just unknowlingly be the key to this entire nightmare.
But, the Village was empty. He searched high and low and couldn't find anyone. But, he couldn't help but feel that there were eyes on him. But, when he would look where he thought he saw something, he saw nothing.
Finally, exhausted from his search, and thirsty, he saw a pond in a field next to a tree, and decided to get a drink to quench his thirst.
Little did he know that....
The Ogar saw movement in the slumbering Empress. Now his thoughts turn to the medicine bag on his belt. He unties the leather straping and pulls out the last pouch of the curing herbs of Yellav. Mixing them with a small amount of purified water in the Empresses singing bowl he slowly dabs the life giving potion on her soft forhead. She will awaken soon, thought the Ogar.
With his potion fully applied he gently takes the hand of Poisonbelladonna and kisses it. The only chance he may ever have to show his afection for the great Empress. Just as he placed her hand back to her side she opened her beautiful green eyes. Joy returned to the Ogars soul and a smile befell his face.
What has happened asked the Empress? Much hath transpired from the time of thy sacrifice, replied the Ogar. To see the light in your eyes hath brought me happiness my Empress. Now take mine hand and I shall help thee up.
The Ogar spent the next several hours telling the Empress all that had happened from the time she was struck down by her kind healing of Sir Larry.
Mercy continued to try to figure out a way to get the onion to the Poisonbelladonna. She knew where it could be found, and yet being a wereturkey she was not allowed to handle it. In communicating with Lancelot an idea started to form. "Stay back Lancelot, for I do not know if my slobber could transform you also into a wereturkey and I could never forgive myself if that were to happen." Lancelot wanted so badly to help his mistress but knew she was right. Mercy turned to the other wereturkeys and said "I must go off and be alone, for I have to come up with a solution to get the onion to the Enchantress soon or it will be too late. I have no intention of any of us becoming Thanksgiving dinner!" And so she wandered off with Lancelot close behind. They wandered into the village once again, hoping that maybe they would see Mayor Darklight but Mercy knew that she couldn't communicate with the mayor in this form so what good would it do to be able to see her. They continued to wander back to Raeny's abode and came upon the beautiful pond. Mercy looked into the pond contemplating what she should do now. "Oh horrors! Look at me! I look absolutely horrible!" she thought while looking into the pond. Getting closer to the edge of the pond, she slipped and fell in. Then a most amazing thing happened...

Chapter 125 Posted by Carol
Getting closer to the edge of the pond, she slipped and fell in. Then a most amazing thing happened...
She opened her mouth err. I mean beak to call to Lancelot. And spoke clearly. She could speak again
Mercy was so happy she had her voice back. She still looked a fright but she could talk. Now she could tell the others where she had found the magic onion. She must hurry. Time is running out. They MUST get the magic onion to the empress before Thursday.
Lilith's Childe came back from her talk with Weedhopr looking rather sad, but determined.
"Alright Nova, let's find that Onion. I haven't been to the village since the silliness wars, but I think that is where we must go. We must go to the tree..."
Taking out the Crystal Ball from her pouch, Lilith's Childe hold's it up.
"I can carry you easily in this, and you will be safe from the Turkey Slobber. You'll be able to get out whenever you wish, and your voice will broadcast magically to anyone you wish, no matter how far".
Novaflare agreed, but as he was about to go into the crystal ball a huge crashing sound was heard.
Weedhopr, Lilith's Childe and Novaflare looked up to see...
Mercy sat by the pond drying and just resting for her journey back to the castle.
Feeling better, she stood and walked to the edge of the pond again, {this time more carefully}. She gazed at her reflection in the pond to fix her hair, but what she saw, she was not at all prepared to see!!!
Sir Larry arrived at the tree in time to see a wereturkey fall into the pond.
"How strange", he thought to himself. "A wereturkey sure is a strange creature. And clumsy too!"
Just then, he heard Mercy's voice. He looked and looked, rubbed his eyes, then stared at the wereturkey.
"Mercy? Is that you?"
Mercy turned to him, and quickly held up her wing so as to not let him get too close.
"Sir Larry" she sobbed, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Please go to the Empress and tell her that Dr. Seven has the Magic Onion."
"I know", he said. "Coniraya and I saw him leave Darklight's house with it. I sent Coniraya to Poisonbelladonna's castle to inform her. She'll know what to do about all this. After all, she's the greatest Enchantress in all of FC."
ebby looked at Mercy and shuddered : "we hav GOT to get this all cleared up soon, too many loose ends and too little time!!! , Poor Mercy, the pool isn't fully powerfull until the one who is 'Pure of Heart' comes along....you're stuck half way I'm afraid.
Now who do we know who is Pure of Heart ????
Lilith, weedhoppr, and Nova turn to see Lancelot, WereTurkeyMercy's Unicorn, crashing in hysteria over a talking were turkey!
Umm, I think we should get going-Lancelot, can you let me ride you? You can ask Mercy...
The magic spell that took me to the Onion was...ummm...let's see, I remember vaguely...
http...
village...
fortunecity...

When I arrived, I was asked a series of questions, each leading closer to the Onion, like a path...(heehee)
My quest was almost thwarted, until I realised, "surely the onion was under the magic tree, and absorbed it's magic, now a magic onion.
But, everything must be ordered, and I remember that Jay Peg holds many images, as does his brother, Jiff. So I went to see if Jiff had the Onion.
He didn't =(, but said his brother might know.
Sure enough, Jay Peg had the magic onion! It all makes sense, see?..."
The tale ended, all four looked about in wonder.
I don't think using Magic to retrieve the onion will help, because the Wizard said he wanted a way to get visitors, so if we use magic, it will probably turn for the worse.
Everyone nodded, agreeing the wizard had been making the quest more difficult.
I don't know what lies in our path, or what we'll find on the return trip, so EVERYONE(hrmmm) keep a close eye out for trouble.
The others finding their transports, Nova went up to Lancelot, finding a carrot for the steed, asked to be taken to where the onion lay.
Lancelot's reply was....
Lancelot's reply was....wweeiiineighhhh - which, interpreted in people words means,I'm ready when you are!
While Nova was climbing atop Lancelot, Weedhopr and Lilith climbed aboard McV and, when everyone was all set, the party
took flight, trusting Lancelot to lead the way.
Suddenly a very bright flash was seen down below, and Liliths Childe shouted to NovaFlair "I have a strange feeling about that flash
of light! let's circle around and see what it was!" Nodding her head, Nova turned the hearty beast toward the light and began the descent.
As Lancelot and McV got closer to the ground, everyone noticed that it was in the area of the Magic Tree and Magic Pond;
when they got close enough for a really good look, it became apparent that the flash of light was none other than Edgar
making an appearance before wereturkeyMercy! As the door slid open and Dr Seven strode out...
Mercy started flapping all over the place trying to get everyone's attention before they got too far away! In her excitement at seeing Dr. Seven she found she lost her voice once again and instead had resorted back to only slobbering gobbles. Dr. Seven jumped back but unfortunately for him, it was too late. The slobber had hit him too and right before their very eyes Dr. Seven also became a wereturkey! The onion dropped from his hand to the ground and as he was backing up away from wereturkey Mercy, he backed right into Edger and was gone in a flash! The others had seen a flash of light and turned around to come back to see what was going on. Upon landing they saw.......
....and saw, sitting nonchalantly against the tree, Agent Zed.
Lancelot and McV circled and landed. Nova, Weedhopr and Lilith disembarked and walked up to the tree.
Zed glared at them. "I was out warning the FC residents - those who haven't turned into Turkeys, that is - my kindly minister Shadow keeping me updated about the Magic Onion. There I was," said Zed, still leaning on the tree "in the middle of the Village, when suddenly eight Wereturkeys chased me here."
Nova made to speak, but Zed rambled on.
"I heard about the onion. I heard about the tree. I even heard that only the pure of heart could possibly handle the magic onion. These... these... these bloomin' wereturkeys chased me right up against the tree, pecking the ground by my feet and driving me back - and now I'm stuck to the tree."
Weedhopr started to laugh
"I know I'm not exactly pure of heart, but would these turkeys listen? No. Too worried that Thanksgiving will come and they'll all get eaten. Look at me now!
"Think yourself lucky you walked into it backwards!" said Nova, and Weedhopr started rolling on the floor.
Zed glared. and glared. and glared. With his head stuck to the tree as well as his back, there wasn't much else he could do!
Lilith's Childe looked around at the tree and the pond, and at her friends. Her heart ached at the thought of sweet Mercy and the others stuck as wereturkeys, with only 2 days before Thanksgiving. There had to be something she could do!
So she sat on a rock next to the pond and thought on this while the others spoke to Agent Zed. What could she do? She was only human now, no powers, no immortality, no nothing! How could she possibly save them?! And the wizard, he said he had given her the ability to save her friends! Ha! He obviously had lied...
All of these thoughts finally caught up with Lilith's Childe, and she began to cry, for the first time since becoming mortal. Tears rolled down her cheeks and onto the ground in front of her.
Sprouting up from where her tears landed were little onions! There they grew larger and larger until Lilith's Childe could cry no more. She looked up to her friends, her face stained with tears. "I'm sorry...I don't know what to do" she sniffled.
But her friends simply stared in amazement at her feet, and when she looked down, she too was shocked! For there were many onions, shining blue in the light of the sun.
Thw wizard had given her what she needed to save her friends, by being alive she felt things she hadn't before, and had the abilty to cry for her friends!
"But what do I do now? I'm so confused...what do we do with the onions now?"
Seeing all those beautiful little onions at Liliths feet got
the gang to laughing even harder!Oh it was such a beautiful sight...all those
magic onions just sitting there after all they'd been through!
Drying the tears from Liliths face, Weedhopr says "Take heart Liliths Childe!
It looks like our wereturkeys plight is just about over!"
The gang were all jumping around rejoicing, and wereturkeymercy,Carol, and Goober were
flapping their wings and gobbling like crazy!
Agent Zed was yelling "Hey! Get me down from here!!"
Finally his voice got through the manic laughter, and Weedhopr instructed McV to
grab hold of Zed while Lancelot backed away holding McV "Plok!" ...Agent Zed
was free.
"It's off to Castle Belladonna! Grab as many onions as you can carry!" says ebby.
Nova was wondering how the tree had got ahold of Zed.
Or for that matter, had ever heard of tears making onions?
But there wasn't time for any of that nonsense.
For a second thought, only the pure of heart could....
"Wait! Everyone! We needed a ship. But if it wasn't the one that was destroyed, and it's more powerful than the wizard's magic, and he would foul up any magic used by us, what kind of ship would that be? Also, each of us has a purpose."(ch58,62,64,65,66,67,70!,73,75,76,82,83)
Slowly a smile came across weedhopr's face.
Mind telling the rest of us?
*giggling, It's not a sailing ship, it's friendship! 'Tie tight now the friendship knot!', Belladonna said that!(ch69), that's why she sent Ogar to rescue the sailing ship!(ch 70)
She knew it was friendship all along!
Nova caught the idea. "Hey Zed, have you stuck to anything else lately?"
Why yes, I have been seeming to stick to things, now that you mention it.
"Then you're the one who must harvest the onions, for freinds stick together.
Everyone, join hands, and Zed will harvest."
One by one, Zed pulled. For everyone he pulled, each member of their party had one as well. Quickly, they mounted and made haste to the castle of Belladonna.
Time was running out....
Back at the castle of the most charming Enchantress - Poisonbellasdonna, Ogar has helped her to her feet, and she has once again gazed into her crystal ball.
Not wanting to alarm anyone, she saw all that had happened, and was very worried that her friends would be in mortal danger until they could safely arrive in her castle, where she could protect them.
She asked Ogar to be ready to fly to their rescue at a moments notice if something would happen, as the magic onions were the only thing she needed to concoct her magic potion.
So, together with Ogar, she stood and gazed into the crystal ball. And as they watched, they realized that by the time the sun set, all would be well within Fortune City once again.
"See, my dear Ogar, it's as I said it had to be. We must rely on our friends, and be friends forever!"
"We shall, Dear Empress!" Ogar said with a smile as he held her in his arms. "We shall!"
End of Chapter 137
Carol turned to Goober and Mercy and said
Hey you two are ministers dont you have pull with the powers that be
I came to the Newbie board because its a great place to hang out and Ive made some great friends but then SniP snatched me up slobbered on me and ever since Ive been a were turkey
Im tired of being a were turkey that no one wants to get close to
I dont mean to slobber
Come on someone get that ONION to the castle so the empress can make the potion. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving I hope it doesnt have to simmer too long.
Gazing into her clawball, The Empress furrowed her brow deeply, turning thoughtfully toward the turret window with cloudy eyes. A solitary tear lingered for a moment within her eye before sliding to fall upon her heart.
"What troubles thee, dear Empress?" asked the Ogar, nearly in a whisper. "Heavens to Mergatroid! Our friends do not realize that these baby allium spawned of a near-mortal vampiress could jeapordize the casting needed to restore the wereturkeys to their original forms."
The Ogar lowered his head, nodding, knowing what he must do.....
He exited the castle, called to Namron, and took to the sky...
The Empress descended the stairs to the sacred casting room off the poison laboratory to make ready for the impending (hopefully) arrival of the Magick Onion -- the only true mystical root implanted at the base of the Oak in the Village.....
She would certainly deal with the evil Wizard later for lying to her dark sister, nearly causing the utter destruction of their friends.
Nova wondered how Belladonna was doing, and told the others to take his onion.
Phasing into electron form,
He was there, and then gone, arcing into the starry sky towards the castle.
"Hey Belladonna! Good to see you recooperated, Great news! We have several magic onions..."
No Nova, it is as you feared, the wizard has tricked you.
Quickly, warn the others and join Ogar. Oh, and give him this, it leads to the onion.
The Ogar jumped upon his might flying friend and paused for a moment to look up at the turet window where there stood the Empress. His heart, he thought, stays here though my flesh goes to the aid of my friends. Hath thou a spell to give mine mind wisdom he cried out to beautiful Poisonbelladonna. Yes she replied, but you do not need it. Follow the light within you, she added, for that is all that is required.
The Ogar spurred his winged companion to flight and they headed for the village. Namron his trusted dragon flew straight as an arrow to James Dean and landed at the site 999. This I proclaimed before and none took heed thought he. The Ogar entered the place. There he found the following inscription scribed on a plaque nailed to an old wooden door.
It is I who is here to say,
that what you've come for is here to stay,
unless one of you who attempts the deed,
is the purest of heart indeed. To suceed in your quest, Passing five trials is a must,
The first you have surpassed,
By finding my domain at last.
The Ogar forced the ruff hewn door open and there befor him stood a riddle floating in space. The riddle was of strange origin and puzzled the Ogar at first. It read; Sea suckled me, waves sounded over me, rollers covered me as I rested on my bed. I have no feet and often open my mouth to the flood. Now some man will consume me, who cares nothing for my clothing. With the point of his knife he will rip the skin away from my side, and straight away eat me uncooked as I am. What am I?
Hmm thought the Ogar. I knew a man who loved these just as they were. You are an oyster, cried out the Ogar. And with that said another riddle poped up in place of the first. This is what it read; A lonely wanderer, wounded with iron, I am smitten with war-blades, sated with strife,
Worn with the sword-edge; I have seen many battles, Much hazardous fighting, oft without hope
Of comforts or help in the carnage of war Ere I perish and fall in the fighting of men.
The leavings of hammers, the handiwork of smiths, Batter and bite me, hard-eged and sharp;
The brunt of the battle I am doomed to endure. In all the folk-stead no leech could I find
With wort or simple to heal my wounds; But day and night with the deadly blows
The marks of the war-blades double and deepen. What am I?
Oh he thought, this one is easy for my old shield bares this trait. A sheild cries out the Ogar, and a new riddle now stood before him.
A strange thing hangs by a mans thigh, hidden by a garment.
It has a hole in its head.
It is stiff and strong and its firm bearing reaps a reward.
When the man hitches his clothing high above his knee, he wants the head of that hanging thing to poke the old hole (of fitting length) it has often filled before.
What am I?
This be hard said the Ogar out loud. Let me think, oh and a reward behind a locked door requires a key. A key shouted the Ogar, and before him stood the last riddle.
Quick; quite mum; I die notwithstanding.
I lived once, I live again. Everybody lifts me, grips me, and chops off my head,
bites my bare body, violates me.
I don't bite a man unless he bites me;
there are many men who bite me.
What am I?
Oh thought the Ogar! I had one for sup just a forth night ago. You are an "onion" he sternly yelled, and at that moment the walls of the site disappeared in to a cloud of smoke and he found himself in a pleasant grass covered meadow. There in the midst of the meadow stood a lone tree. He walked up to the tree and there at the base of the stately oak grew the magickal onion.
At long last, screeched the Ogar! Reaching down he pulled the onion from the ground and cried out to Namrom. Heed my call my friend! For the time has come! I have now in mine hand the true magick onion.
Namron swooped down and with one leg-strained jumped the Ogar landed on his back. Namron flew faster then ever to the castle that held the light of Ogars life, the Empress. He birst trought the door and started down the stairs to t meet his Empress in the poison laboratory.
The Most High Magickal Wizardress, Poisonbelladonna, ~The Empress of The Essence~, prepares her ritual tools for this most imposing occasion.. Somewhat pale and not yet fully revivified after her subternatural slumber following the spiritual diffusion of her sacrifice within the Netherworld, as well as reformating Sir Larry, she could only hope her strength would hold up long enough to complete this most important ritual
Hearing fast approaching steps descending the stairs, she turns to see her consort enter the laboratory. "What of our friends and the Magickal Onion then?" She inquires of him. A warm smile spreads across his face as he procures the glowing azure root from his satchel. The enchantress peers up at him appreciatively from beneath her coquettish lashes as she accepts this long-sought-after allium bulb, the most mystical succulent cousin of the lily.
She asks The Ogar to assist her in readying her altar tool kit
while she prepares the mystical ingredients for this casting circle.
Having set forth the necessary items, she once more dons her ceremonial gown
Entering the sacred chamber adjoining the laboratory, The Empress kneels upon the ground, sprinkling the area with the consecrated soil that will create the hallowed circle.
The Ogar hands her the items from her altar tote as each is required. She first calls for the chalice,
pressing it to her lips; she annoints it and sets it out to receive the potion she has prepared for the ritual.
The ancient stones are then arranged upon the graveyard silt.
"Lunar Light, protect me!"
"Great Spirits of the Lunar Light
And Mistress of the Seas;
Great Spirits of the Mystic night
And of the Mysteries;
Within this place of candles bright
And with your mirror nigh;
Protect me with your awesome night
Whilte ill vibrations fly!"
The Ogar slips the enchanted athame from the altar silk, handing it over to her.
She gingerly presses the tip of the cold blade to her warm lips, releasing the sacrificial essence required to sanctify the ritual.
"Dark Spirits, I ask that you
Add your power to this tool.
Enchant it in your sacred name
And never let its power wane.
I consecrate this tool to Thee.
As I will, so shall it be!"
She employs the enchanted athame in carving out the sactified casting circle, chanting,
"I cast this circle now one time so ancient ones will hear my rhyme,
I cast this circle now times two, for hidden wonders and secret truths,
I cast this circle three times round and declare this sacred holy ground.
To the east I whisper please, spirit of Air come join me,
Fill my circle full and free, caress me in your gentle breeze.
To the south I turn my gaze, Fire I welcome you this way,
Light me with your holy flame, set my magic fast ablaze.
To the west I raise my hands, Water join with me band,
Wash me from the shore on land, tell me what to understand,
Now the north I call to you, Earthen spirit old and new,
Strengthen me and all I do, Complete this circle, make it true.
Honoured spirits now I ask that you turn upon my task,
Set your wind against my wings and lend to me your sweet blessings.
Nether sprites I wish from you a single moment to ensue,
Take the time to work with me, shower me with ecstasy.
Now we've joined in this place, with love and laughter, life and grace,
This circle full, now the time has come, I say to you this spell has begun."
The Ogar now hands her the blessed elemental force amulet. This, too, she presses briefly to her now blemished lips, her blazing green eyes rolling behind their heavy lids.
She gently lowers the blood-stained amulet into the chalice. The enchantress decants the potion into the chalice.
"This circle of magick I cast tonight,
An enchanted place to perform this rite,
With air, fire, water and earth to bless,
Until I withdraw their powers hence.
A sphere of light around me grows,
And as above, then so below.
Now thrice I have called, that all may see,
This circle is cast, so shall it be."
The Empress motions for her consort to pass her the remaining ingredients.
She enters within a circle cast and elements called, on the New Moon that will Wax to Rowan Moon Night. Using a mixture of Dragons Blood, Sandalwood, and Cinnamon for an incense during the rite
and a "clean" Cauldron in the Circle center,
The Empress anoints seven bright orange candles with Cinnamon Oil and Sandalwood, and says, while lighting each one (remembering to NOT use matches!!!)
"Whisk Ye, Weave Ye, Wending Ye!
Conjure Forth My Wish To Me!"
Then, taking up the cleanly washed Magick Onion,
and upon the onion, carves her wish three times, then wraps the root in parchment. She burns it and rubs the ashes of the parchment into the onion. Holding the onion up to the New Moon, the wizardress says three times....
"Wish I Will, To Waxing Moon,
My Wish To Seed, I Call My Need,
To free these wereturkeys of the wizard's deed - -
I Conjure Ye Forth, In The Name Of Darkness!"
Concentrating and visualizing the wish being filled with the power of the Moon going into the "Wish Seed" (onion), she then places it into the Cauldron. Next, Poisonbelladonna walks the Circle seven times doesil (clockwise) saying as a chant...
"Wind And Fire,
Fill My Desire,
Water And Earth,
Conjure Its Birth!"
Saying many times over...
"Moon To Weave,
Sun To Sieve,
My Wish To Conceive!"
The enchantress then kisses a silver coin
and places it into the Cauldron as well. Covering it over with a dark cloth until the orange candles are done burning, she unseals the Circle. Using the cloth she used to cover the Cauldron to pick up the coin and onion from within the Cauldron. She ascends the stairs, exiting the castle into the garden, and immediately buries them underneath the north root of an Oak tree (including the wax drippings).
Having followed The Empress to the garden, the Ogar sees their friends anxiously looking on from a respectful distance as the wizardress continues the ritual.
Poisonbelladonna intones toward the tree, "Oh, Spirit of this Tree, my Friend --
To lower portions now descend
Until I've done what I must do,
So no harm or damage comes to You."
"Seasons change---the Wheel turns 'round!
Bulb, I plant you in the ground.
Death-like bulb, you'll gain new life,
And in due time, will sprout and thrive."
"Darkest woodsprites, dance and play
Upon this ground throughout the day.
Wisest Spirit, so gnarled and old,
Work mysteries in the night-time cold.
Mother Spirits, give it birth
So it will sprout upon the Earth.
And let it blossom beauteously.
The Wheel turns 'round! So shall it be!"
"Blue light fade into the ground,
Sealing now this Circle round
Make this Circle disappear,
So no one knows the magic here."
The Empress will water it once a day until the night of the Blood Moon. If all motes well, the wish will manifest in a few days.
The Empress, relieved to have completed the sacred rite, returns momentarily to her turret to retire her ceremonial garb..
She descends to the laboratory
where her dear friend awaits her. She looks to him hopefully, her once bright eyes now drained and drowsy with languor. In silence they both seem to realize simultaneously that they can do no more tonight. The evil Wizard's fate would have to wait to be dealt with until this spell came to its fruition. All hinges on time now..
Spent from the long and arduous ritual, the frail spirit of the wizardress has ebbed and waned.. The vital quintessence of her very soul has been poured into this night of magick, sacrificed for what she prays will bring the safe return of their dear friends. With a trembling sigh, the slight form of the enchantress succumbs once more to complete collapse as she sinks suddenly to the floor unconcious..
The Ogars heart fell to the floor with his Empress. Running up to her, he kneals to one knee and gently slides his arms under her slender attractive form. He raises her up to his chest and whispers in her ear. "Once again you have given all for thy friends".
With the Empress in his arms the Ogar climbs the stairway up and into the turet. Placing her softly on her feather bed he covers her with the down blanket.
The Ogar crouched down on the floor and settled down for the long night. "Oh my sweet Empress," murmered the Ogar. Pulling his cloak around him he gazed at the beauty that shines from his Empress. This glow warmed his thoughts throughout the night as he watched over her. Perhaps the morning shall bring forth the opening of her eyes he prayed.
Smiles lit everyones face as they looked around in wonder, the beautiful
sunrise and sudden Light of that Day seemed to warm the heart of them all and
to give a reassuring new hope for their friends recovery!
Lifting their faces to the warmth of the Light, and enjoying the beauty and
wonder of Life itself, the group stood, dreamily holding hands, and waited,
waited for the goodness that the day was sure to bring...
Poisonbelladonna has aligned all the elements, and holds her enchanted wand...
